The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Saint Paul AME 1540 Pryor Rd SW, Atlanta, GA at 1PM with remains placed in state at 12 Noon. Visitation Friday 12 Noon until 7PM at the mortuary. Interment Southview Cemetery. Viewing Friday, January 31, 2020 from 12 Noon - 7 PM at the funeral home. Mildred was preceded in death by, her husband, Frank Lewis Dorsey, Sr, eldest son, Rickey B. Dorsey, sister, Sarah Meriwether; brother, Ezell Jackson and granddaughter, Shykisha Dorsey . She leaves to cherish every precious memory shared, to her loving children, Michael (Holly) Dorsey, Frank (Tuwanna)Dorsey, Al V. Dorsey, Angela Dorsey, Maria Wood, Toronia (Nigel) Kendricks-Waul and Kenneth (Tiffinie)Woods, brother, Joseph Jackson, a special grand daughter and caretaker, Tekedra Kendricks, 37 other special grand children, 27 loving great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
