Vera M. Walker Gates of Atlanta, GA., passed Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11AM at Calvary Temple Baptist Church, 700 Cooper St SW, Atlanta, GA 30315 with remains placed in state at 10AM. Rev. Dr. James O Jackson, Pastor. Interment Southview Cemetery. Visitation, Friday, September 30, 2022, at the mortuary 4PM until 8PM.

I have fun and loving memories of Mrs. Vera. I would be with her Children , Nieces and Nephews. My good memories were at her sister's house. We lived in Carver Home. Enter into the Joy of the Lord ! Vera left my mom, siblings and I with a wealth of lifetime treasured and impressionable memories. Back in the day, Vera was the most AWESOME Sunday School teacher, Easter and Christmas Program Coordinator. She made so much fun. She and my mom were very close friends. They would talk on the phone βοΈ every day for at LEAST 1-2 hours, for over 60 years even up to the night before Vera answered God's call and boarded her one way flight 921 to Heaven. βοΈ Praying for the family's strength, peace and comfortπ YurLanda Crear/AKA: Land/PeeWee
