I worked with Haywood for many years. When I always spoke of Haywood to people that didn't know him, I would always describe him as such a nice person and someone that would give you the shirt of off his back. That is Haywood to me, today and forever. The sweetest, nicest person that would give you the shirt off his back. RIP Haywood. Love to the family. He loved his daughters sooo much. Laurie Neal

I came to know Haywood at OTSG. He was a kind d and thoughtful man with a smile that made you smile when you didn't want too. He met my husband at Quantico Commissary and would constantly tell me to pass on to him; we need to go fishing. Haywood had a giving spirit. I'm to miss his presence. To his family, stay strong in your faith. God will always be there for you. With Agape Love, Ginger Rogers-Bass

I knew Haywood as a member of the Ft. Belvoir Chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing the past three years. He was such an impressive and delightful man, always smiling (and what a smile!), engaging everyone and offering encouragement to all. I will miss seeing him, but am appreciative that he was with us and brought so much joy. Rest in Peace, Haywood. Respectfully, Randall Rueb
