I was heartbroken to find out of your passing. It was always a great time when you came in for your checkup. You would always give me a hard time about my grass,after confirming how green yours was. I would always give you a hard time about your wheels and how often you got your car washed.I still don't know how you ever fit into your vehicle bug. Truly a great guy. Your favorite dentist. Daddy, I miss you so much. I know green was your favorite color and green also represents your favorite football team, the Eagles. I love you and it's extremely tough not being able to have someone I not only considered my father, but a best friend. I know you're always with me all the time. I hope you're enjoying your eternal rest in Heaven with Mr. Ray, Jaxon, and many others before you. I love you and you're always in my heart forever.

Howard set the standard for character, loyalty and commitment. He inspired us to his standard, and his humor made the day brighter and the load lighter. Howard, I chose the yellow candle for you because the yellow sun brightens the day just as you did when you entered a room. Upon hearing of your passing, I went through a range of emotions. I went from heartbroken and sad, to angry and confused, to remembering the good times and smiling, to a calm knowing I would see you again, someday.

You were one of the best co-workers and friends a person could be lucky enough to have. Your compassion, gentle side, smile, curiosity, laugh, genuine care for others and your positive attitude was infectious and so very appreciated. The fact that you and your family have endured so much and that you had the willingness to share your personal stories, with us, is just one testament of many, to how special a person you are.
