Dear Jones Family, I worked with Maude for many years at the USPTO. During that time, my sister was on the waiting list for, then received, a liver transplant. I sent an email to my co-workers with the good news. The next time I saw Maude, she broke into a huge smile, gave me a warm hug, and said, "I am *so* happy for you!" I will always treasure that memory of Maude. With sympathy, Barb O'Bryen p.s. To Maude's son who loves corn on the cob - I'm the coworker who told Maude about cooking it in the microwave. She told me you had adopted the method, with enthusiasm!
Dear Jones Family, I first met Maude at USPTO. She worked in the STIC library and we used to talk about water aerobics and the Aldie Festival. We attended the Festival a few times together and had fun. We also spent 4th of July one year riding around the area watching all the fireworks together. Another fun time together we shared and talked and just hung out. We also attended a fellow employee named Neil, retirement party at his family home. Everyone that knew Maude just loved her because she was such a bundle of light and love. The salt and light she shared with the world will be remembered and cherished always with love and affection. My deepest sympathies to the Jones Family. Debbie Ware

The Lord blessed me when he brought Maude into my life. "My Mom at the office" was not only my roommate, she was a friend, a counselor, a mentor, a caring listener, and an inspiring spirit. Her memory lives on in my heart. May God bless her family and comfort them. Richard Lehman and Family
