Deacon Smith was surely a God fearing soldier. He loved his old church hymns. I enjoyed being a friend to you and family. Tell my twin sister Sharon hello. God bless your family. Clara Cotton.
Heaven surely opened the gates to a very precious and special soul when Mr. Smith was called to his heavenly home! I will always remember his sweet smile and how pleasant it was to be around him! I will miss seeing him rocking on his front porch. My sincere condolences to Mrs. Smith and his beautiful family. May God give you all comfort and peace now and in the days to come.
To my N. Carolina family, God be with you all. Take care of Auntie Nell. Love you all
Daddy this past week has been a blur. We still can't believe you are not here on earth. Trey & I will love you forever! Don't worry we're good momma covered. Rest on soldier. #PraiseHim
Mary and the family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr Smith was a nice man and great neighbor. I will miss seeing him sitting out but I'll know he's at his forever home. Cherish his memories and remember him always. My condolences.
