Obituary For Arthur Armstrong

Mr. Arthur Allen Armstrong was born on March 19, 1956 in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Henry and Edith Armstrong. He transitioned from his earthly home on Monday; July 20, 2020 at Accordius Health in Brevard, North Carolina.

He was a graduate of South Point High School in Belmont, North Carolina. Arthur was employed as a brick mason. He was a very talented artist. He could draw anything. If you knew him, you would know that he was a humble man. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was a member of Wright’s Chapel Church in Lowell, North Carolina under the direction of Reverend S. Clement.

Besides his father: Henry Armstrong and mother: Edith Armstrong, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Jacqueline Armstrong, Macelina and Iva Elaine Armstrong and four brothers: Henry Lee Armstrong, Jr., William, Anthony, and Tony Armstrong.

He leaves to cherish precious memories of him to his one brother: John Earl Armstrong of the home; three aunts: Rosa L. Armstrong of Cramerton, NC, Genelle Miller, and Martha Armstrong of Gastonia, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He will lie in state on Thursday; July 23, 2020 at the funeral home from 3 until 5.

A private service will be held on Friday with live streaming beginning at 10:30 a.m.
