Obituary For Bernadean Adams
Mrs. Bernadean Massey Adams, 75, of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away on Friday; July 3, 2020. She was born to the late John Jay Massey and Bernice Jackson on March 10, 1945 in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Bernadean graduated from Eastern High School, Washington, DC in 1963. In her early years, she worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS and Walmart. If you knew Bernadean, you would know she was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren.
She was a loyal member of Christ Community Baptist Church where she proudly served on the food ministry.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Jimmy Adams of Gastonia, North Carolina; one son: Abrah (Tarsha) of Lake Wylie, South Carolina; five grandchildren: Christopher, Tyler, Abrahanna, Cierra and Trinity; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state at the funeral home on Tuesday; July 7, 2020 from 4-6
Graveside service on Wednesday; July 8, 2020 at Gaston Memorial Park at 12 noon
Mask are required at all services and service will be live streamed beginning at noon
