Brian Alexander Robinson of Gastonia, NC, was born November 10, 1965. He departed for his heavenly home on Monday, May 10, 2021.
Brian’s life was a miracle, filled with love and laughter. He was raised in foster care where he met his forever mother, Janie T. Burris. At 19 years old, he met the love of his life, Sheila Barnett. They later married and lived and loved until death has now parted them.
He was preceded in death by parents: Goldie Robinson Hayes (his biological mother) and Finley Thomasson.
Brian leaves to mourn him, his loving wife of 18 years: Juan Robinson; his stepson: Sheirf-f Barnett; the mother who raised and loved him: Ms. Janie T Burris; his life-long devoted friend: Artist James Henderson (a.k.a AJ): biological siblings: Angela Davis of Rural Hall, NC , Pamela Gross of Romulus, MI, Natalie Hayes Hauser of Indianapolis, IN, Nathaniel Hayes of Charlotte, NC, Nannetta Fulton and Dawn Renae Hairston both of Winston-Salem, NC and Edna Thomasson Lewis of Florida; siblings in life: foster brothers: Ricky Phillips of Gastonia, NC , Johnny Phillips and Tony Phillips of Washington DC , Beverly Ann Phillips, his niece and forever friend; and also leaves behind a host of other relatives and loving friends.
Viewing only will be Saturday at the funeral home from 3 until 8
Private service will be held by the family.
