October 31, 1961 to Cedric Chalk and Betty Sturgis. He entered eternal life on Sunday; May 11, 2025 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.
Viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday; May 14, 2025 from 5 until 7
Funeral on Thursday; May 15, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Bessemer City at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends of Carlos. I had the pleasure of meeting him and sharing a prayer or few with him. What a kindhearted, family and Godly man Carlos is. He will be greatly missed but that kind heart and smile remains with us. Blessed to have met him on life's journey. God bless all who fill this loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Carlos' family. He was such a great man that loved his wife, family and grandchildren. We spent countless days talking about life, family and God. He was a true child of God and made sure everyone he spoke with knew that. We will truly miss him here at Carolina Brush. Rest in peace Carlos.
Condolences to the family and friends Carlos , I only knew him for 3-4 months before his passing, in that short period of time I can say this about him, he was a man who loved God , his wife and family, Carlos took pride in doing whatever task that was required of him to the best of his ability , he was as dependable , punctual and just a pleasure to work with and lastly I like to say he was one of the most respectful person you could ever want to meet, it was always Mr.or Ms. when referring to someone, I'm definitely going to miss him , but I'm grateful that God allowed our paths to cross on this side of Glory even for a short time, rest well Mr. Carlos Sturgis , until I see you on the other side of Glory 🙏🏾🙏🏾
