The Daughters of Bethune Temple send condolences on the loss of a legacy. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family.
Mrs Darlean was a lovely person. I got the chance to be under her leadership over the Missionary group at Friendship Christian Church. She will be greatly missed .
Memories of my childhood reflect to one true legacy - Ms. Darlene as we would call her. My sister and I started attending church with our godmother, the late Haviette Feemster - they were the best of friends and sister Daughter Elks. Ms. Darlene and her mother were two of the most loving and caring persons. She was my Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader and a cofrondant. Her soft spoken words of love and care will forever remain in my heart. My she rest peacefully among the angels in heave, as she was a angel among us here on earth.
My heart is broken, in so many pieces but I know God doesn't make no mistakes. Mrs. Darlean, has been a bonus mother to my siblings and I and many others, There was never a question about her love, it was unselfish generous, to many, " We all rise up and call her blessed" proverbs 31"28. She worked diligently to be a good citizen of the community, she helped to strengthen, not weaken. Her role in the church played an important role in so many lives, her faithful support of its programs and her record of attendance prove her love, She will be truly missed, take your rest my sweet angel I will see you in the morning. Well done 🙏🏼❤️🥲
Ms. Darlean was the perfect example of the proverb "it takes a village to raise a child". While she didn't have any biological children of her own, she created a vast, extended family of children, which resulted in her being a second mother to hundreds of children. As the children's Sunday school teacher (and children's choir director) at Friendship Baptist (Community) Church for nearly half a century, she was a dedicated mentor and educator who consistently demonstrated her deep love and genuine care for all her children. She was a "community mother", guiding light, and proof that being a mother is far more than simple biology. She invested her heart and soul into many generations and her impact will be felt for many generations to come. May Ms. Darlean rest in peace on the other side. As a village community mother and a shining example of what a life of service should be, she has truly earned her wings.
The Brothers of Brick City Elks Lodge #688 Sanford NC send our condolences to her family.

PGDR Darlean F. Eaves Davis will be greatly missed. She left a legacy in the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World. 22 years as our Daughter State President. How amazing. She was a very humble, knowledgeable and dedicated member to our order. She is one of the reasons I'm the Daughter of Elks that I am. Her encouragement, inspiration and humbleness gave me reason to learn and push myself. Everytime I wanted to quit I'm reminded of a very heartfelt and passionate conversation we had and what was asked of me by her. Daughter Eaves take your rest and know that I will not fail you. I love you and appreciate you being the epitome of a great women and an outstanding Daughter of Elks. The legacy has been made it's up to the members to build on it.💜💛❤️💜💛
