Obituary For Deandre McCoy
Deandre Lamar McCoy, aka Dre, was born on December 21, 2001 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Anthony McCoy, Sr. and Demetra Miller. He departed this early life on Thursday; June 9, 2022.
Deandre was cherished by so many that had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know him. He graduated from Ashbrook High School, Gastonia, North Carolina on June 3, 2020, and everyone knew him as the well-dressed guy. Everyone that knew him, knew that he loved his family very much. To know him is to know him by his big smile.
Precious memories of Deandre McCoy will forever be cherished by his father, Anthony McCoy, Sr., his mother: Demetra Miller; his grandparents: George and Ernestine McGill, and Savannah Gray; two brothers: Anthony McCoy, Jr. (Troyanna) and Rodriquez Williams; four sisters: Shadrika Lowery (O’Brian, Sr.), Malaysia Brown, Jala McCoy, and Hailei Surratt; three nephews: Trevion Allison, O’Brian Lowery, Jr., and O’meir Lowery, two nieces: K’zariah Lowery and Arianna Williams, five uncles: Albert “Jr” Gray, Mark Gray, Steven Miller, James Miller, and Christopher Miller (Tamara), and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
Viewing at the funeral home on Friday; June 17, 2022 from 4 until 6
Funeral: Saturday; June 18, 2022 at Mt. Zion Restoration Church, Gastonia at 2:00 p.m. with thirty minute visitation before the service
Interment: Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia
