Steve "Big Cat" Hopper, was just not a coworker or a friend, he was an older brother to me. I've been knowing Steve for over 20 years. Steve was always someone you could talk to, joke with and rely on. His spirit, his personality, his originality will definitely be missed!! We shared a lot of great times together and his memory will always live on in me. May God bless Mrs. Rita, his son and his daughter and his whole entire family.
Woke up with you in thoughts, text message to checkin on you, in return to get a text back of your passing. It was a pleasure to meet you, thank for being my friend. Sincerely, KK
Steve was truly one of a kind, a gentle giant in his own way. We worked together at the former CBO Novant. Steve would talk his trash especially around football season! His heart was on the water fishing always showing his fishing skills. We would talk from time to time lately and he amongst some of our other CBO coworkers were trying to get together! God had other plans and an appointment with God can't be changed! Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal peace and love to the family because peace surpasses all our understanding you are in my prayers
