Obituary For Harry Wilson
Harry Neal Wilson, AKA Paw, was born to the late Cambell Ashberry and Virginia Glenn Wilson in Gaston County on April 4, 1945 and departed this life on January 17, 2022.
Harry was a hard and dedicated worker. He worked for Owen Steel, Inc. for thirty years, Carvers and Sons Roofing until he retired. Harry loved working in his yard and gardening.
Preceding him in death is his first born: Sara Wilson; grandson: Austin Wilson, great grandson: Kingston Wilson; brothers: Lenard Wilson, Campbell Wilson, Jr., and Bobby Ray Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his loving wife of fifty-seven years: Barbara Adams Wilson; daughters: Sarah R. Wilson, Elder Dianne Brooks of Gastonia, NC, and Beverly Wilson Taylor (Fred) of Dallas, NC; grandson: Daquan O’Ryan Wilson (Amber); three great grandsons: Daquan, Kendrick and Malik of Gastonia, NC; brothers-in-law: Ronnie Adams of Gastonia, NC, and Johnny Adams (Sutalia) of Charlotte, NC; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Wilson, Cecelia Adams, Pastor Lora Darby (Don), Joyce Wilson and Carla Wilson all of Gastonia, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Viewing at the funeral home on Sunday, January 23,2022 from 3 until 6
Funeral on Monday, January 24,2022 At Friday Memorial Baptist Church at 1:00 p. m.
Visitation is thirty minutes before the service at the church
Masks required at all services.
