Viewing at the funeral home on Thursday; August 14, 2025 from 5 until 7
Funeral on Friday; August 15, 2025 at Center Baptist Church, Gastonia at 2:00 p.m. and visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Interment: Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury; Tuesday; August 19, 2025 at 10:00 am- (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury)

My sincerest thoughts prayers and condolences to the family of Rufus. So sorry to hear of Rufus' passing. I saw Rufus last year in August 2024; it had been a very long time since we had seen one another. I've known him and his family since elementary.
May God comfort and mend the broken hearts.. Earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal. God bless the family.
