I met Mr. Manning just one time. One time was all it took for him to leave an impression on my life and my daughters life as a matter of fact. We were walking out of Belmont middle school late one afternoon and saw Mr. Manning and struck up a conversation. The joyfulness and friendliness that came from him was extremely contagious. The conversation started with football and then immediately transitioned to family, God and our love for Jesus. I mentioned to my sister who worked at the school at the time that we had met this nice man who was working late at the school and she immediately knew who I was talking about and she was so happy that I was able to meet him because she felt the same about Mr. Manning. In fact it has been 3 ears since that encounter and she called me last week just to let me know he had passed. My daughter started crying when she heard the news and then I assured her that no tears are needed for this man because he was resting with our Heavenly Father. It was my pleasure to meet Mr. Joe Manning. Sincerely, Brent Jones
