John Althea Cooper was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on March 23, 1927 to the late John Cooper and Eddie Campbell Cooper. He transitioned to his heavenly home on Thursday; March 30, 2023 at home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday; April 8, 2023 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Gastonia beginning at 12 noon with a thirty minute visitation before the service (11:30 a.m.)
