Obituary For Julia Fonville
Julia Ann Fonville was the daughter of the late Rosa Lee Boulware. She was born on July 27, 1955, in York, South Carolina. She transitioned from this life on Thursday; September 29, 2022.
Julia was a 1973 Bessemer City High School graduate. She was a devoted member of Greater Mt Zion Baptist Church, which is currently Mt Zion Restoration. She loved her church family. Julia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend, and family member to all that came in contact with her. She was also a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She chose that team as her team because she loved their team colors. She was currently employed by Amazon in Charlotte NC.
Julia is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Aundra Fonville; mother, Rosa Lee Boulware; grandparents, James and Lucille Sanders; brothers, Carroll Boulware, Howard Boulware, Danny Sanders, and James "Sac" Boulware.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children; daughter, Shrone Sanders, of Charlotte, NC; son, Adrian Sanders, of Gastonia, NC; son, Aundra Fonville (LaQuoya) of Lake Wylie, SC; son, Rashod Stang (Samecca) of Maysville, NC; grandchildren, Tylik Roberts of Gastonia, NC, Kaliyah Robbins of Charlotte, NC; Ashawndria Sanders of Tampa, FL; Leadria Sanders of Tampa, FL; Shalaydria Sanders of Tampa, FL; Aiden Sanders of Tampa, FL; Atayah Tucker of Maysville, NC; Samiyah Tucker of Maysville, NC; Makayla Tucker of Maysville, NC and two great grandkids, Phoenix Knight Roberts of Gastonia, NC and Halo Nevada Roberts of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Jimmy Sanders (Carolyn) of Gastonia, NC and Ricky Boulware (Angie) of Gastonia, NC; one sister, Sharon Johnson (Berwyn) of Cherryville, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4 until 7
Funeral on Wednesday; October 5, 2022 at Mt. Zion Restoration Church at 1:00 p.m. with thirty minute visitation before the service.
Interment: Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia
