La Kesha Marie Massingale entered the World June 23, 1981 and departed October 22, 2021.
She graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee, WI and attended courses at Bryant & Stratton College. She relocated her and her children to Ranlo, NC in 2005 to be closer to her Mother and never looked back!
Kesha is now in Heaven with her Grandparents: Betty and Charlie Murphy and her Grandpup: Passion Marie! She may be gone but as her Facebook post said, “Yep I’m rememberable”. Our hearts are elated knowing that she touched the lives of many people! And in her favorite words; “Love me or leave me the fuck alone!”
La Kesha loved life, music, family, her fur babies. Her hair always had to be on point turning heads with vibrant colors, never caring what anyone thought! And oh baby, her lashes had to be just right and if you knew her those lips had to be popping in her words, but most of all her strongest love was the love for her children!
She was preceded in death by her son, Marquel LaRon Blount on April 28, 1998.
She leaves behind her three surviving children, Marques William Lovett, Jaya Marie Ashley (Emanyea Lockett) and Kenyen Devesi-a Matthews Jr. Her Mother Linda Marie Simon (Tracy Simon) and her Father, Jonathan William Massingale Her Bonus Mom, Eyala Massingale! She has an older brother Darius Massingale and two younger brothers, James Leonard Thomas and Clifton LaMar Thomas! Two sisters, Diamond Massingale and Layla Massingale. She leaves behind her best friends, Nina Williams of Chicago IL, Tiffany Crump-Houge of NC, and her NC Mom, Angela Chambers and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousin & Friends & One very Special Goddaughter, Armani Starr Collins. She also leaves to mourn, her Walmart Crew/Family and sooooo many friends that the list is too long to name individually; but, each & every one of you know exactly who you are!
Donations are greatly appreciated but not required if you would like to contribute to her children please feel free to cash app Jaya @ $jayamariee or Linda @ $tasgirl116 we thank you in advance.
