Obituary For Martha Clawson
Mrs. Martha Tate Clawson was born May 10, 1925 in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Joseph Tate and the late Beaulah Setzer Tate. She transitioned from her earthly home on Sunday; January 30, 2021 at The Ivy of Gastonia in Gastonia, North Carolina.
She was educated in the Gaston County School System and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowling Green, South Carolina where she was a faithful deaconess, member of the Chorus and a servant of the Lord. She loved to eat and you would always find her laughing and enjoying life. She will be dearly missed.
Memories shall forever be cherished by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral: Thursday; February 3, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Bowling Green, SC at 12 noon.
Visitation: thirty minutes before the service at the church
Interment: Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bowling Green, SC
