Mrs. Parsinia Burris Collins or Ms. Polly, as she was affectionately called, was born in York County, South Carolina on November 27, 1943 to the late Annie Bell Burris. She transitioned from her earthly home on Friday; November 20, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, North Carolina.

She was educated in the South Carolina School System, worked in the textile industry and retired from Parkdale Mills. She enjoyed growing flowers and cooking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Annie Bell Burris, daughter: Lizzie A. Burris; sons: John C. Glenn, Harry L. Glenn, and Isaac Byers; granddaughter: Gracie Burris and brother: Carl Burris.

Precious memories will be cherished by her granddaughter: Pamela Hill; grandson: Gregory Burris; great granddaughters: Ashley Starr, Mercedes Meeks, Alexis Burris, and Zoey Burris; great grandsons: Arkevius Burris, Jasmionta Mackey, Rashad Burris and DeAngelo Byers; five great great grandchildren; special niece: Vanesia Mills; special nephew: Michael Brown, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Walk thru viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday; November 25, 2020 from 4 until 7.
