Peggy Ann Huett Aiken was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on December 04, 1941. She went home to be with her savoir on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, North Carolina
She retired as a timekeeper at Wix Filters in Gastonia, NC. Peggy was devoted to her family. She moved to Morristown, NJ after graduating from Highland High School in 1960. There she was introduced to Harold Benjamin Aiken by his sister, Agnes Carolyn Boyd Aiken. The two soon married and began a family. She moved back to North Carolina in the mid 1970’s and settled down in Stanley, NC where she raised her three sons. Peggy was also very instrumental in raising her grandchildren, great grandchildren and anyone else who needed a helping hand. She left behind a host of relatives, friends and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Johnsie Bryson and Floyd Huett.
Precious memories of Peggy will be cherished by her three sons: André Fitzgerald Aiken of Hickory, North Carolina; Ivan Douglass Aiken of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and Marcus Sullivan Aiken of Charlotte, North Carolina. She also leaves behind her three sisters: Elouise E. Armstrong of Columbus, OH; Joyce Yvonne Miller of Cedar Knolls, NJ; and Linda Lipscomb of Gastonia, NC; seven grandchildren: Diva, Sergio, Dejon, Donavan, Tia, Duran and Lexie; great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Peggy will be dearly missed but now our angel has received her wings and went home.
Memorial Service: Friday; October 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Words of Restorations-624 Davis Heights Drive, Gastonia
