Phillip βBusterβ Hunter Barnett was born in York County, SC on December 5, 1946 to the late Robert and Pearla Ervin Barnett. He transitioned to his eternal home on Wednesday; October 16, 2024 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.
Funeral on Friday; October 25, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church, Gastonia at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Interment: Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia
Family will be meeting and greeting at the home of the daughter, Marsha, at 1121 Aprilia Lane, Dallas, NC

Mr. Barnett was one of my favorite residents at The Lofts. I was so sad to hear of him passing. He was always friendly and polite. We enjoyed his sweet potato casserole too! Rest in Peace
