Obituary For Robert Dade

Robert Dade was born in Dauphin County, PA on November 4, 1958 to the late William Harold and Edith Jean Davis Dade. He transitioned from his earthly home on Friday; February 5, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Robert or Bobby, as he was affectionately called, attended Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, PA. He was employed at Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg for a number of years. He was also employed at the US Coast Guard Base, Elizabeth City, as an assistant manager of the Officer’s Club. Robert was heavy into martial arts, and he attended various karate schools and some kung fu classes. He trained on many martial art weapons, learned different techniques and styles. He also was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Robert was predeceased by his mother: Edith J. Dade, father: William H. Dade; sister: Susan D. Jones; and brothers: James Dade and Craig Dade.

Robert is survived by his wife: Darlene L. Dade, daughter: Sherell Dade Phillips and her husband: Cedric Phillips; his brothers: William H. “Junnie” Dade and his wife: Leola T. Dade, Harold and George Eubanks and Robert “Bay” Bullock; sisters: Donna Eubanks and Yvonne “Peaches” Bullock Dade, as well as host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A walk thru viewing will be held on Friday; February 12, 2021 at the funeral.
