My heart broke when I heard of my dear friend's passing. Vernette and I met in 1984 while working at Bali in Gastonia. She became one of my dearest friends. Always greeting me with a big smile. You will be miss my friend. My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear sweet sister in the Lord. Vernette had such a joyful, sweet spirit about herself. I had not seen her in a while, but when I did, she was always the same. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May she continue to RIP - Minister Evelyn Pratt.

Vernette and I grown up together and when she was going uptown I would ask to go with her. So one day I went with her and got away from her and she told me you're never go with me again she said I told you to stay with me. And I said you don't tell me what to do she said that why you're not going with me no more with your fast but.☺️😅
