Obituary For Bobby Ray Knight

The Homegoing Service for Bobby Ray Knight will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Greenforest Community Baptist Church, 3250 Rainbow Dr., Decatur, GA. Rev. Dr. Emory Berry, Jr., Senior Pastor. The Rev. Herman Cody, officiant and eulogist. The body will lie in state one hour before the service. Interment Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Bobby Ray Knight was the youngest child born to John A.L. Knight and the former Mildred Raynor. Bobby Ray grew up in a close-knit family near Morehead City, North Carolina where he graduated from West Carteret High School in 1975. After completing business management certification, Bobby Ray worked extensively in the food service industry.

Those who cherish his memory include his children: Natascha T. Godette, Kendrick R. Knight (Joanna), and Patrick Knight; devoted mother, Mildred Pines; siblings, James A.L. Knight, William A. Knight (Bunnie), Patricia A. Hines (David), and David Haskins; aunts, Emma Curtis and Ruth Knight-Jackson; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson; and, other relatives and friends.
