Cyril Gordon was born January 31, 1925 in Georgetown, Guyana. He was a former inspector in the Guyana police for over four decades and a member of the West Indian British armed forces. He served his community and country with honor and integrity. Cyril relocated to the United States in 1985.
Cyril led a unique life and was a wonderful father. He was a father with a heart full of love. He was a guide, a counselor, and friend to everyone. Cyril had strong family values; and was therefore very aggressive in his beliefs and inhibitions. He was a natural born communicator, he taught, led and inspired every one in his presence. This led to him becoming an active member of the Dekalb Housing Board as well other community related services. He lived and enjoyed everyday of his life to the fullest. "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD."
Preceeding him in death, his wife, Mavis E. Gordon and his grandson Rodwell Jones. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his children; Ronald, Dennis, Carol, and Judy; son-in-law, Brian; grandson-in-law, Paul; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
