In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Ms. Jade Alexander. Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 30, 2025 12:00noon at All Nations Life and Praise 3060 Sr 155 Stockbridge. GA 30281. Interment will be at Kennedy Memorial Gardens 2500 River Road Ellenwood, Georgia 30294. Viewing will be Thursday, May 29, 2025 12noon-5:00pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Jade Mercedes Alexander, loving daughter, sister, niece, and friend passed away at age 28 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Jade was born August 7, 1996 at Grady Memorial Hospital, in Atlanta, GA to the proud parents Derrick and Arlene Alexander. On June 20, 1997, Derrick and Arlene welcomed twin girls, Britney J. (who preceded her in death) and Whitney J. Alexander. Jade received her high school diploma from Dutchtown High School in Hampton, GA in 2014. She continued her education at Albany State University in Albany, GA for two years. Jade left college early due to her battle with lupus. She was fluent in Spanish and had a love for food and travel. Jade was a hardworking, dedicated young lady who was most recently employed by GA Auto Pawn in Jonesboro, GA.

Throughout her life Jade enjoyed being a big sister to her twin sisters Britney and Whitney. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. Although she faced serious health challenges during her life, she remained a warrior until God called her home. Jade endured countless days in the hospital, but never without the comforting presence of her mother, Arlene, by her side.

Jade was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sammy and Brenda Alexander and grandfather, Alvin Campbell.

Campbell- Alexander, siblings, Jamieka Alexander, Destiny Majette, Whitney J. Alexander and Jarret Alexander; Godbrother, Christian Powell, grandmother, Annette “MaMa” Campbell, Godparents, Earl and Angela Sheffield. Aunts and Uncles: Adrian (Aretha) Campbell, Artemus (Michelle) Campbell, Arnold (April) Campbell, April Y. Campbell, Alicia (Harold) Powell Arnitra (Chris) Shaw, Aloysius (Nesha) Campbell, Amy Campbell, Alexis (Demetric) Rosser, Bryce Alexander, and Travis Alexander. Jade was dearly loved by many including her close cousin Autumn Campbell, devoted friend, Jason Simmonds and best friend, Ashley Anderson. Jade was a proud parent to her fur baby “Seven”.

Jade will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
