Mrs. Jessie M. Williams passed July 11, 2013.

Celebration of life for Mrs. Jessie Mae Williams will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 1:00P.M. at First Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 763 Martin St., SE, Bishop H. P. Johnson, Pastor; Rev. Demetrius Griffin, Officiating. Interment Resthaven Garden. Remains in state at 11:30AM.

Mrs. Jessie Mae Williams was born on March 27, 1922 to the late Mr. Remfus Briggs and Mrs. Flossie Mother Dear Copeland-Brown in Lake Placid, Florida. She departed her earthly life on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11:15AM.

Mrs. Jessie Mae Williams was educated in the Lownes County School System. She resided in Moultrie, Georgia after which she relocated to Miami, Florida in 1962 and remained for 30 plus years. In 1998, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she remained until her passing.

She lived a God fearing life as a caring, loving, supportive and devoted mother, grandmother and proud great grandmother.

Mrs. Jessie Mae Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Remfus Briggs and Mrs. Flossie Mother Dear Copeland-Brown and her son, Mr. Warren Williams. She leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Flossie J. Boddie; three sons, Levoil Peter (Euradell) Johnson, Howard (Rita) Johnson and Willie (Florine) Williams; a loving goddaughter, Mae Butler; five generations of grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
