Celebration of Life for Mr. Joseph Montgomery, Jr., will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at The Last Day Church of God, 300 Candler Rd., Pastor Eliza Armstrong officiating. Interment, Westview Cemetery. Remains instate 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Joseph Montgomery, Jr. was born to the late Mrs. Annie Doris Montgomery Davis and Mr. Joseph Montgomery, Sr. on February 18, 1960 in Orlando, Florida. At an early age Joseph joined The Last Day Church of God, Inc. and was a member of the choir for many years.
He began his early education in Cuthbert, Georgia. He attended and graduated from Brown High School in Atlanta, Georgia where he was an excellent football player. Upon graduating from High School he served two years in the United States Army. Joseph held several jobs until he found his home at the Peachtree Place Condominiums where he served as a Courtesy Officer for 14 years.
In 1990 Joseph met the love of his life, Elizabeth Wilson and they were married December 7, 1991 and shared a happy life. He raised Rhonda Wilson Ezzard as his daughter and played an intricate role as a wonderful grandfather in the lives of her four children. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a loving wife of 21 years, Elizabeth Wilson Montgomery; fathers, Joseph Montgomery, Sr. and Robert L. Davis; daughter, Rhonda (Michael) Ezzard; three brothers, Michael, Carl and Anthony; four grandchildren, Lakeisha, Dylan, Torriean and Julian; mother-in-law Ora Johnson; eight brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
