Obituary For Kabamba Ntumba

Rucklor Kabamba Ntumba was born to Matthieu and Mbombo Ntumba on April 12, 1963 in East Kasai, DRC-Congo; he is the second of four children. His dad preceded him in the spirit world three years ago; he is survived by his loving mother, his elder brother, his younger sister, his younger brother, his lovely wife, and two beautiful children, Sun-Mi Rita (6) and Matthieu Rucklvan (3).

He was sent from East Kasai to Kinshasa, the capital city, to attend elementary and high school. After graduating from high school he entered college and received an associate degree; then he met the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity, also known as the Unification Church. After completing the Divine Principle education he decided to join as a full-time volunteer in 1987.

From 1987 to 1999 he pioneered in Bandundu, Maniema and Kivu provinces; after the 1994 genocide in Rwanda war broke out in East Congo and brother Kabamba Ntumba had to walk for two weeks to escape to safety. Since his new location had a border with Rwanda he became a missionary in Rwanda for a few months before making his way to Kenya and Zambia where he continued to serve God's people and share the anointed words of the divine Principle with whoever he came in contact with.

August 1992, he was matched and blessed to his wonderful wife, Esther Banda of Suriname, South America, in the multi-cultural and multi-national 30,000 couples' blessing. After a 12-year missionary journey he came to Atlanta in November 1999 to join his wife. He believed in making friends and sharing the Word; as a result he has many sons and daughters in the ministry in this Southern crossroads. A dedicated husband and father, he always wanted the best for his family.

He suddenly left us Monday, April 23, 2007, just eleven days after celebrating his 44th birthday, due to a heart attack. We sincerely pray that this bold soldier of Christ's Army will continue to fight at our side in the battle to build the Kingdom of God on this earth.
