Mr. Charles A. James passed.Celebration of life will be October 02,2015 at 1:00PM Peace Lutheran church. Internment will follow Kennedy Memorial Garden, Viewing will be at the Funeral Home Thursday evening from 4:00-8:00PM. Mr. Charles A. James was born in Eatonton, Putnam Country, Georgia on September 7, 1943. Charles was the sixth child of Mr. CHarlie and Mrs. Florence Paschal James. Charles was preceded in death by both parents, by his oldest brother, Mr. Alvester James, and by his youngest sister, Mrs. Florence Marie James shields. Charles attended Flat Rock Elementary School and graduated in 1962 from Butler- Baker High School in Eatonton, Georgia. Shortly after high School graduation, Charles enlisted into the United States Army from witch he was honorably discharged in 1965. Charles became gainfully employed by the Ford Motor Company Where he worked diligently until retirement in 2006. He was very active in the United Auto Workers (UAW) and the A. Philip Randolph Institute. Charles Join Peace Lutheran Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Victor J.Belton He faithfully attend services and loved participating in church activities. Charles is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edna J. Hagan (Larry) of Columbus, Georgia and Dr. Trellie J. Jeffery of Decatur, Georgia brothers, Mr. Thedwron James (Marie) of Byron, Georgia and Mr. Larry Paschal (Betty) of Eatonton, Georgia; aunt, Mrs. Clyde Paschal of Milledgeville, Georgia; ten nieces six nephew,and a host of cousins and friends.
