Obituary For Mr. Corey Deon Price
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mr. Corey Deon Price. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 12:00 noon at Central Holiness Church, 1069 Washington Street SW Atlanta GA 30315. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. Family hour will be from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Grissom-Clark Funeral Home.

Mr. Corey Deon Price, the son of Angelia Price and the late Royce Thomas, was born March 3,1979 in Atlanta, Ga. He made his peaceful transition on March 20, 2026.
He was educated in the Dekalb County School System and graduated from Towers High School in 1997. Corey was employed with the Dekalb County Sanitation Department until early retirement due to his declining health.
Corey gave his life to Christ at an early age. In his spare time, he loved taking vacations, shopping, and trying different restaurants. He was a huge sports fan that loved football. Playing pool, watching documentaries and religious shows were just a few of his enjoyments. Corey was a lover of music. He enjoyed cooking on the grill and spending time with family, friends and most of all “His Grandbaby”.
Corey was preceded in death by His Father, Royce Thomas; Grandparents, Willie L. Price Jr., Juanita “Gates” Price, and Harold Thomas Sr.; Uncles, Willie L. Price III, Keith Thomas and Walter A. Thomas Sr.
He Leaves to cherish his memories; His Loving Mother, Angelia Price of Douglasville, Ga; Bonus Father, Henry Crawford of Douglasville, Ga; Grandmother Fidelia Thomas of Decatur, Ga; Brother, Eddie Carter Jr. of Decatur, Ga; Special friend Sharee Wilkins of Lithonia, Ga; Three Bonus daughters, Shydeejah Elliott Shania Elliott and Romance Johnson of Lithonia, Ga; One grandbaby Nova Woolfork-Elliott of Lithonia, Ga; One nephew Keon Waller-Carter of Douglasville, Ga; One God-Sister, Alexandria Robinson of Atlanta, Ga; Four Uncles, Kenneth Price (Zakiyyah) of Villa Rica, Ga; Alvis Price of Stone Mountain, Ga; Harold Thomas Jr. and Derrick Thomas (Balencia) both of Atlanta, Ga. Three Aunts, Cynthia Ficklin (Milton) of Decatur, Ga; Harriet Thomas of Lithonia, Ga and Joan Price of Decatur, Ga; One Great Uncle Gregory Thomas; Three Great Aunts, Frankie Price, Angela Green, and Dolly Cobb along with a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
