Leroy "Roy" Willis, 76, of Decatur, GA, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 24,1949, in Washington, GA,
Roy as he was affectionately called was known for his infectious ability to keep others laughing, his unwavering integrity, and a deep love for his family, especially his children, whom he considered his greatest joy. He put his family first in everything he did, ensuring they felt loved and supported in all their endeavors. He loved watching Law & Order, making frequent trips to Big Lots, being outdoors, fishing and hanging out for any occasion with his children, grandchildren and siblings. He was a respected and devoted family man. His warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Roy is survived by his beloved children, Andre, Keisha, Marcus, Jonathan and Michael; his cherished grandchildren, Lil Andre and Markiaya and great-grandchildren Autumn, Baby Andre and Alisse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry "Buddy" Willis and Lula Matt Lumpkin Willis.
