Celebration of life for Mr. Melvin Lamar will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009 12:00 noon at Shy Temple C.M.E. Church 2012 Memorial Dr., Rev. Lamont Johnson, Pastor, officiating. Interment, Washington Memorial Park. Remains instate at 10:30 a.m. Survived by wife, Beverly Usher Lamar; Three sisters, Lucille Williams, Julia Mae (Jimmy) Myrick, Cora Collins; two brothers, Woodrow (Annie Lois) Williams, John Henry Williams, Roger (Mary) Williams, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
