Obituary For Mr. Sidney Maiden, Jr.

Mr. Sidney Maiden, Jr. was born July 28, 1930 in Marengo County, Alabama to Mr. Sidney Maiden, Sr. and Ida Maiden. He gave his to Christ at an early age.

On September 12, 1951, Sidney married the love of his life, Doris Foney. He was the proud father of four children. Mr. MAiden was a retired Crane Operator from US Steele Corporation in Birmingham, Alabama where he worked for thirty-five years.

Early Monday morning, March 16, 2009, the Lord gently touhced Sidney and relinquished him from his pains and entered into heaven's gate.

Mr. Maiden was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and James Curtis and Brother, Earnest. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Doris Foney Maiden; son, Ronald (Ann) Maiden of New Berne, North Caolina; daughter, Cynthia (Jim) Carlisle of Stone Mountain, GA; two daughters-in-law, Kathy Maiden and Sarah Maiden; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Darius, Ronald, Jr. Jimmy, Brandon, Crystal, Jasmine, James, Jr., and Lindsey; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Inez (Joe) Hudson of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, John (Ann) Maiden of Youngstown, Ohio; and countless nieces,nephews, cousins, and friends
