Obituary For Mrs. Carrie Parker

Mrs. Carrie Joiner Parker was born April 17, 1934 to the late Mrs. George Zinnie Joiner. and the late Mr. Steve Joiner in Renoke, Alabama.

Carrie was raised and educated in Renoke, Alabama. She gave birth to one loving daughter, Willie Bernice. Later she moved to Atlanta, GA in 1964. Shortly after, she married the late Eugene Parker and found employment at Dollar General. She faithfully attended church at Deliverance Our Faith until she became very ill. Carrie departed this life and slipped into the arms of God after a long illness on Thursday February 25, 2010 at home in her daughters arms in Atlanta, GA. Carrie will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Parker, four brothers, and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory one loving daughter, Willie Bernice Copeland; three granddaughters, Delia Reams, Qiana Briddy, Traci Briddy; four grandsons, Darian Scott, Christopher Scott, Ronald Dupree, Isaiah Dupree; five great granddaughters, Brittany Daugherty, Iesiha Daugherty, Qiana “Bunnie” Briddy, Ahijah Reams, Ariel Reams; one great-great granddaughter, Kalaya Scott; two great-great grandsons, Christopher Scott, Jr., Deonta Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
