Eunice Johnson was born in Niagra Falls, NY to Louise Snyder and Elizy Johnson Jr. on July 20th, 1955 then later moved to Buffalo, NY where she was raised.
Eunice attended Bennett High School and then later attended Bryant and Stratton College for Medical Administrative Specialist. She enrolled in the armed forces where she served overseas and received many awards and medals for outstanding work.
She accepted Christ at an early age and then became a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Buffalo, New York. Eunice lived a full life and was loved by her family and friends.
Eunice enjoyed listening to gospel music and always read her bible. She believed in working hard and in getting a good education. Along with listening to her gospel music and attending church she enjoyed dressing nicely for every occasion and she had to make sure her make-up was just right. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and nephew.
Eunice leaves behind her parents Louise and Elizy Johnson Jr. her sister Salenia Johnson, 2 brothers Saville Johnson and Damon Johnson; her children, LaCrie & Chandra Johnson & family, Simone Johnson and Joshua Pratcher. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Bryanna Wilson, Leshae, her nephew Derrick Johnson, her niece Cherita and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
May God be with the Johnson-Pratcher family through this trying time. You are in my prayers
Salenia,

My sister taught me how to dance. My best memories was her love of music and singing to Chaka Khan and other 70s/early 80s soul and R&B music. I was going through her paper work today and stumbled across her New York drivers license. Her hair was as big as Chaka's! It made me smile and cry at the same time.
In honor for her love of music and my need to make it through her funeral, below is part of my playlist:
1) Amazing Grace - Mahalia Jackson 2) Hold On (Pt2) - The Sounds of Blackness 3) Why We Sing - Kirk Franklin and The Family 4) Yes Jesus Loves Me- Whitney Houston 4) I am Every Woman - Chaka Khan 5) We are Family - Sister Sledge 6) I Will Survive- Glory Gaynor 7) Fantasy - Earth, Wind and Fire 8) Glitches (The Skin You're In) - The Roots 9) Shame - Evelyn Champagne King 10) Aqua Boogie - Parliament
Cheers.
