Mrs. Gaynor Greenage

I just found a photo from 1969 of Robert and Gaynor Greenage with my cousin James , Pauline and Diane Waters.

Mrs. Greenage was kind and patient--an outstanding Home Economics Teacher. In seventh grade, we had a lively discussion about whether gingerbread from a box was really gingerbread. And who could forget the cobbler aprons? My Mom wore hers for years. It was a pleasure to have known Mrs. Greenage; my family and I extend to the Greenage family our most sincere condolences. Mrs. Greenage was my Mom's roommate at A.G. Rhodes. This has been a trying year and my prayers are with the family and the soul of Mrs. Greengage. Love~Peace...Glenda Rambo Jones

My sincere condolences to the family! Soror Greenage was a happy and fun-loving lady. She loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest, as we shared an International trip with Saint Philip AME Church. Mrs. Greenage was my cooking and sewing teacher. The cooking lessons stuck with me; sewing, not so much.

Oh my, where to start.....an amazing lady, the very best home economics teacher ever....beautiful inside and out, and could be very funny. You left your mark on so many, even at church, Union Bethel A. M. E., Denton, Md. May the work you've done, forever speak for you. Your Denton family and friends never forgot the Greenage family when you moved away, we certainly did miss you all. Take your Crowm Mrs. G. You've earn it.
