Obituary On Tuesday April 17, 2018 God sent his angel for Rosa Lee Thomas. Come home, my daughter and take your rest. Well done my good and faithful servant. Rosa was born in St. Augustine Florida on June 16, 1931 to the late Williams Sanks and Clara Sanks. At in early age Rosa was a faithful member of the church. Rosa was joined in matrimony with the late Henry Thomas in 1947. From that matrimony she was blessed with 11 lovely children. Dorothy Wilkes, Lamar Thomas, Deloris Adams, Kenneth Thomas and Donald Thomas, Lila Lockes, Andrew Thomas, Larry Thomas, Charles Thomas, Willie Thomas and Christina Thomas. Rosa moved to Winter Park Florida where she and her family lived many years. In November of 1971 she moved to Baltimore, Maryland from Altamonte Springs Florida where she joined Browns Memorial Baptist Church and then Koinonia Baptist Church. Later she joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Joppa, Maryland. Her last move was to Georgia in November 2005 where she joined Shoal Creek Baptist Church and then Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated member of the Eastern Star Chapter #140. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker, truck driver and day care provider. Preceded her in death was her husband of 53 years and a loving daughter Deloris Adams, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by 10 children Dorothy Wilkes from Orlando, Florida, Lee Thomas from San Diego, California, Kenneth Thomas (Andra) from Winter Park, Fla, Donald Thomas (Ann) from Baltimore, Maryland, Lila Lockes (Stanley) of Edgewood Maryland, Andrew Thomas (Elaine) from Rivera Beach, Florida, Larry Thomas (Stacey) from Elkridge, Maryland, Charles Thomas from Conyers, Georgia, Willie Thomas from Baltimore, Maryland, and Christina Thomas from McDonough, Georgia. She is also survived by one sister, 34 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, 3 great-great children along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
