CONDOLENCES AND HEARTFELT SYMPATHY, to the FAMILY of Dr. Holston!
Rev.Holston and his family was neighbors of ours for years, I was the baby sitter whenever Mrs. Holston had a game at Gordon Highschool. We shared great memories together, the Holstons were my extended family. He will surely be missed, he always had an encouraging word to leave with you. To the family, you have my heartfelt sympathy. May God comfort and continue to bless all of you . 🙏🙌🤗💖
TO THE FAMILY: I was so saddened to hear that Rev. Sidney had passed. My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the Family!! Rev. Holston was my close friend for " A Lifetime". He was an Extremely Compassionate person: Caring deeply for people!! He, Indeed, was a anchor in my life.!!!! We met the first day of our journey, in basic training (Army). We stayed in touch over the years, spending time with his family. In his quiet resolve and commitment to serving all with whom he came in contact with; He still found time to uplift others, and share a modicum of laughter and jovility!!! His family was my family; Surely feeling full acceptance! He was a very accomplished person; Scholarly, professionally and Spiritually! He had an awesome memory; Often recalling people that we knew and events that happened when we were 22ish. Those were good times. Among the attributes that He possessed, He was a " LISTENER" Among other (so many) attributes that He possessed, He invested in the youth, constantly encouraging them to strive and and achieve academically. Rev. Holston was kind, patient and tolerate. Rev. Sidney was " ONE OF A KIND" He loved family!! The love and support given to Rev. Holston throughout his life, and into his declining health concerns, Indeed, is a testament to the abundant love present in the Family. I will miss my Friend.
I was so sad to hear Rev. Houston had the stroke and then passed. He was Strong and Faithful to his last days, in his leadership for Church Twinning, joining churches and building deep faith and friendships across the US and around the world. I miss you dear friend and prayer partner. I'm so glad I was BLESSED to meet you and Isabelle. Thanking God for your life and ministry! With prayers and love, Pauline Doty, Columbia, SC
