Hortense Constance Archie

Hortense Constance Archie, (Connie) 60, passed away on August 11, 2024 at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital in Fayetteville, GA. She was born on March 3, 1964 in Orange, New Jersey to Stencil C. Archie and Dorothy Sarah Archie. She graduated from Orange High School in 1983. Connie played in the Girl’s Basketball Team and was involved in pottery and art classes. Connie also attended Essex County College in Newark New Jersey where her focus of study was early education.
During her lifetime she worked at the Orange Board of Education, Essex County Recreation and several Hotels in Atlanta. Connie is survived by her daughter Jazmin Williams; grandchildren Tykwan and Malachi Morris; Jaatiq, Antonio, Jaidyn, JaaKing, Mii Angel and Majesti Williams, adopted children, Constance Archie, and Floyd Archie who are her late Sister Zonjia’s children. Sister Lysteria Wilcox, brother-in-law James D. Wilcox; nieces, Lysteria Dismuke, KiShawn Green, Brittany Archie, nephew, Jaime Wilcox and nephews in law, Ran Green and Dave Forbes. Sister-in-Law Tonora Dismuke and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, Aunt Alice and friends.
Her parents, Dorothy and Stencil Archie, Sr. Grandmother, Hortense C. Dixon, sisters Zonjia and Tabitha Archie, brother Stencil C. Archie, Jr, her oldest daughter Kharisma Archie, nephew and adopted son Little Stencil Archie and Sister-in-Law Maureen Archie preceded Hortense in death.
