Sharon Hankerson, 69, of Starke, FL transitioned on February 9, 2024, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on August 16, 1954, to Rev. Dan Hankerson Sr. and Laura G. DeSue Hankerson. She enjoyed Cooking, watching Basketball (Miami Heat), Soap Opera’s, Survivor and talking on the phone with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, those who preceded her in death were her brothers: Dan Hankerson Jr., Benjamin Hankerson Sr., Saul Hankerson, Edward Hankerson and Samuel Hankerson; Sisters: Minnie Tyson and Dorothy Hankerson.
Sharon Hankerson leaves to cherish precious memories to her daughters: Annice Walker and Lanecia Williams, both of Tallahassee, FL, and Tiffany Stoddard (Daniel) of Clarksville, TN; sisters: Mary Hankerson of Tallahassee, FL and Judy Sumpter (Milton) of Starke, FL; aunts: Esther Desue of Daytona Beach, FL; sister-in-law: Anna Hankerson; grandchildren/great grandchildren: Aureon Wilson, Diyanna Wilson, Royalty Wilson and Devontay Blackwell all of Tallahassee, FL and Amani Ellis, Brittany Williams, Harlie Stoddard all of Clarksville, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Homegoing Celebration for Sharon Hankerson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Starke Church God by Faith 730 Old Lawtey, Road Starke, FL 32091. Interment will be held in Bob Love Cemetery in Starke, FL. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Starke Church of God by Faith. Family Hour 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friends 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
