Obituary For Aubrey Dillard

Aubrey J. Dillard, 66, of Martinsville, Va., passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the home of his daughter, Audrey Dillard. He was born January 21, 1952 in Eden, N.C. to the late Ophelia Dillard and George Dillard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joanne Irving; and one brother, Anthony Dillard.

Aubrey is survived by his wife, Linda Dillard of the home; one daughter, Audrey Dillard of Martinsville, Va.; two sons, Anthony J. (Tanell) Dillard of Chesapeake, Va.; and Adrian (Dorian) Dillard of Roanoke, Va.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Annette Harper, Janice Williams and Denise Dillard all of Eden, N.C.; and four brothers, Odelle (Debra) Dillard of Reidsville, N.C.; Dean Dillard of Charlotte, N.C.; Michael Pandu Dillard of Durham, N.C. and Nathaniel Dillard of Greensboro, N.C.

He was a member of The Only Way Church of Christ where he was on the Deacon Board and a Sunday School Teacher. He attended Morehead High School of Eden, N.C.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and all other times at the home of his aunt, Elizabeth Ann Norman at 228 Robin Rd., Martinsville, Va. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. at The Only Way Church of Christ, 128 Roosevelt St., Eden, N.C. Bishop James Daniels, Eulogist.

Interment will be held in the Moyer Family Cemetery, Axton, Va.
