Beverly Niblett Jennings, 77, of Figsboro Road, Martinsville, VA departed from this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Roanoke Carilion Memorial Hospital. She was born in Martinsville, VA on June 4, 1948, to the late Lucius W. Niblett and Lucy Bowles Niblett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jessie Niblett and one sister, Hazel Kidd.
Beverly was a Carver High School graduate, class of 1966. She was employed at Bassett Furniture for 54 years and two months, previously to that she was employed at J.C. Pennyβs Outlet in Martinsville, VA. She attended Mt. Olivet Holiness Church in Martinsville, VA where she served as a missionary. She enjoyed spending her time surrounded by her family and friends.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include, her husband, Frank Jennings, Sr. of the home; her two daughters, Donna L. Barbour of Martinsville, VA, and Denise M. Luke of Eden, NC; one son, Travis Lamont Muse of Martinsville, VA; two stepdaughters, Reverend Nannette (Randy) Devins of Stockbridge, GA, and Avis Jennings of Atlanta, GA; three stepson, Frank Jennings, Jr. of West Virginia, Pastor Melvin (Dale) Jennings of Heidelburg MI, and Keith Jennings of Mason City, IA; one sister, Dorothy N. Kidd of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
A family visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at Refuge Temple Ministries, 205 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, VA. The interment will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 869 Parkway Drive, Martinsville, VA.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 1602 Figsboro Road, Martinsville, VA from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Live streaming of the funeral service will be available at Hairston Funeral Home live via Facebook.

Ms. Beverly was one of the sweetest ladies I have known. Her beautiful smile will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
