Clide “Tony” Hairston, of Danville, VA, departed this life on Thursday, October 8,2026, at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.
With hearts at peace, we announce the passing of a beloved soul from this earthly life into eternal rest. Though the body has departed, the spirit lives on in the presence of God. Clide was one of kind. He will be missed by so many especially his choir family. Praying for his family during this time for comfort and guidance. Till we meet again my friend ❤️

Tony was always a smile no matter the situation. Always offered encouragement, we worked together at Hooker Furniture played softball together and then he begun to be part of Mercy Crossing family. You'll be missed my ling time friend and I send prayers out to the family during this time of loss. I know today you're soaring high up there brother.
