Deadra Norvada Clark, 65, of Martinsville, VA departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1954 in Virginia, the daughter of Alberta Dandridge Millner and the late Sonny DeShazo, SR. In addition to her father, Deadra was preceded in death by her husband Ben Styles Clark.
Deadra was a graduate of Martinsville High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Refuge Temple Ministries.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Tihira L. Clark of Martinsville, VA; one son Rodrigues (Rakisha) Clark of Bridgeport, Connecticut; her mother, Alberta D. Millner of Martinsville, VA; two grandchildren, Neshon Clark of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Tylan Belcher of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Tara Deshazo of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, Clint Deshazo and Jay Deashazo both of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 12 noon at Refuge Temple Ministries, 205 Clearview Dr., Martinsville, VA, with Elder Alan Preston eulogist. Visitation will at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Buriel will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, Martinsville, VA.
