My deepest, heartfelt condolences to the Brim and Preston families. My heart was deeply saddened when I heard the news of her passing. I met Deb a few years ago at work. She had the warmest smile and personality. We immediately became friends (more like family). Know that her faith and love of her family kept her strong and enabled her to endure. She will be greatly missed. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 NKJB

From childhood through high school, Deb and I were classmates either at Mayo Missionary Baptist Church during Sunday school or at Drewry Mason high school. She always called me Jo and I called her Deb. I enjoyed sitting on the porch with her and her parents at their home while eating cherries and talking about any subject that arose. Deb's last text to me was a sweet, tender message of condolence when my husband's mother died. Her last phone call in July was a thank you. Though she was weary, her faith in God was unyielding. Now she is rejoicing with the God she always called on from childhood to death. See you later Deb!

Even though it's been years since we saw each other, you were always in my thoughts when it came to that time in our lives. May God be with you and your family.
