On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Denise Gaynell Warren 64, of Forest St., Martinsville peacefully transitioned from this life at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rocky Mount, VA on April 29, 1961, to the late Coleman Wright and Lucy Mae Legans Wright
In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Wright.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Christopher C. Wright (Rachael) of Rocky Mount, VA; two daughters, Chintina M. Jones (Lemuel) of Martinsville, VA and Ujeania W. Aaron (Steven) of Collinsville, VA; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ulanda Wallace of Rocky Mount, VA, Gloria M. Richardson and Pamela M. Preston both of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, George Wright and Carl Wright both of Rocky Mount, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Bishop Alan Preston, Eulogist. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 618 Forest St., Martinsville. Live streaming of the funeral service will be available at Hairston Funeral Home live via Facebook.
