Obituary For Desiree Denise White
Desiree D. "Peewee" White, 56, of Martinsville, VA, departed this life on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at SOVAH Health-Martinsville. Born in Buffalo, NY on March 28, 1966, she was the daughter of Bernadine Smith Holland, and the late James Stewart.
In addition to her father, Desiree was preceded in death by two sisters, Deon Stewart, and DeShawn Williams.
"Peewee" as she was affectionately called was a member of the Mt. Sinia Apostle Church, where she was a member of the Sisters Ministry and the Christian Education Ministry.
Desiree leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Rondorian Clark of Martinsville, VA; her mother, Bernadine Smith Holland of Martinsville, VA; stepfather, Clarence Holland of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Selina Terrell of Buffalo, NY; one brother, Lonnie White of Alaska; one grandson, Jayquan Morrison of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 12 noon at Mt. Siani Apostle Church, 7 Peters St., Martinsville, VA, with Bishop J.C. Richardson, Eulogist. Burial will be private. A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
